Hossein Talebi has completed his PhD at the age of 32 years from University of Social and Rehabilitation Sciences. He is the head of audiology department in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. His research line is rehabilitation of inner ear impairments. Now, he is researching and studying the diagnosis and rehabilitation of auditory perception difficulties of children with hearing loss. In order to diagnosing and monitoring of rehabilitation, auditory behavioral responses and auditory evoked potentials are used. The results will surely be useful to betterment of auditory treatment processes of children with hearing loss. He has published many articles in the aforementioned research line.

LUIZ ROBERTO MEDINA DOS SANTOS, MD, PhD, has completed his graduation at the age of 25 years from University of São Paulo Medical School and his PhD studies from the same University of São Paulo Medical School, in 2005. He is the chairman of Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Complexo Hospitalar do CEPON – Florianopolis – SC - Brazil and Supervisor for the Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program, Complexo Hospitalar do CEPON – Florianopolis – SC. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

Dr. Krishnamurthi [Krish] Sundaram has been caring for head and neck cancer patients in Brooklyn since 1983. He graduated from Madras Medical College, Madras, India in 1973. He trained for two years in surgical oncology in India. This was followed by a surgical internship at Church Hospital Corporation, Baltimore, MD, and three years of surgical residency at the Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. His otolaryngology/head & neck surgery residency was at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY followed by a year of additional training with emphasis in head & neck surgery at SUNY Downstate. He is on staff at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY and the NY Methodist Hospital. Dr. Sundaram's practice is limited to the care of head and neck cancer patients, surgery of thyroid and parathyroid glands and sinus and throat tumors. The practice objective is to deliver quality care to the head and neck cancer patient in a compassionate manner.

Dr. Jay R. Lucker is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Howard University in Washington, DC. He is also a visiting professor in the Dept. of Special Education at George Washington University and the Dept. of Languages and Communication Disorders at the University of the District of Columbia. Dr. Lucker also has a long standing private practice specializing in assessment and planning for children, adolescents and adults with auditory information processing disorders (APD) and language processing disorders throughout the greater metro DC area. He is also affiliated as a professional consultant with private practices in Long Island, NY and Charlotte, NC.

Dr. Lucker has been invovled with research, clinical work, assessments, and treatments for people with APD since the mid-1970s. He is author of many articles published in professional journals, book chapters, and co-author of a book on APD titled Don't You Get It? Living with Auditory Learning Disabilities. His present research includes a major project looking at the impact of TLP training on APD and other issues in students diagnosed with primary emotional disorders.

Dr. Friedman is a world renowned leader in the treatment of acoustic neuromas. He began his career as a fellow at House Clinic and later joined the group as an Associate where he had a busy practice for 15 years. He now serves as division director of Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery in the USC Tina and Rick Caruso Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Keck Medicine of USC. He is an NIH funded scientist and his laboratory studies the genetics of common forms of hearing loss. Dr. Friedman belongs to a majority of the societies in his area of specialization, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Otological Society, the Acoustic Neuroma Association, the American Neurotology Society, the North American Skull Base Society, the Triological Society and the NIH/National Institute of Deafness and other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) where he serves as an Ad Hoc Reviewer.

Natasha Mirza, MD is a professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvani for the last 21 years. She trained at the University of California, Irvine. She is the Director of the Penn Voice and Swallowing Center and has published extensively in reputed journals. She performs translational research in airway stenosis.. She has received multiple awards and grants, including the teaching award and master clinican award at Penn. She is a member of multiple national and international societies and is very active in education of the residents and medical students.
